Bojonegoro lcated in east Java, Bojonegoro well known in the oil fields and teak but do not miss Ledre. Ledre is famous snack in Bojonegoro, if you visit there without bring ledre you just missing something special. It's call ledre because of manufacturing processis formed by clamping and then rolled, process clamping is call "Ngeledre". Materials ingredient are sugar, margerin, egg, rice flour, wheat flour, coconut oil and peanut oil. Each roll ledre has a lengh of 20 cm and diameter 0f 1,5 cm or depending on the size of the pan used. Varian flavor is available to choose is durian, cocoa and plantain, plantain is original and favorite flavor than other flavor.
The flavor is sweet, crispy, savory and crunchy, many people who love it very much. Most bojonegoro people pursue livelihood by making ledre small home industries. Very traditional to make it by using simple materials and tools, they use pan clay as a tool and firewood as fluel. Clamping process just use spoon to form a thin dough with butter spread thinly on a baking clay. After being cooked remove and let stand for a moment and then roll it that ledre are still in sheet form.
