"AMPYANG" PEANUT GINGER COOKIES
Traditional snack from Magelang, midle Java, Indonesia, although derived from Magelang this snack can be found anywhere on the traditional markets, all around Indonesia. The taste is sweet, savoury and crunchy. It's call "Ampyang" because this snack mix culture between Chinese culture and Java culture. Ingredient from palm sugar, peanut, fresh ginger and water, simple to make it and use cheap materials but you can taste it delicious.
Daily traditional snacks that are often found in traditional markets, shape sprawl and peanuts sprinkled on top. Specially Ampyang Java the shape is small circles, the taste more or less the same just a different shape alone.
